meet the filmmakers

We’re a group of extremely talented filmmakers from the San Francisco Bay Area who have worked on numerous films for ILM, Pixar, Disney, and American Zoetrope. We have seven Academy members, and two Academy Award winners.
OddFX is our smaller, more personal film.

writer director producer

Catherine Craig is a highly accomplished award-winning writer, director, producer, and cinematographer who creates narrative, experimental, animated, and documentary films. Her feature film, OddFX, was selected as one of only twelve screenplays from an international pool for the prestigious The Writers Lab, sponsored by Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman. Catherine attended the Stowe Narrative Screenwriting Retreat and OddFX has twice been selected as a finalist for the Sundance Screenwriting Lab.

Catherine founded her own award-winning production company, where she directed and produced films for the tech industry, overseeing large budgets and leading union crews and guild actors. She made history as the first woman to work as a visual effects animation camerawoman in George Lucas’s Industrial Light and Magic, and her camera work and CGI artistry can be seen in over thirty major motion pictures.

Catherine’s passion for film preservation led her to work as Francis Ford Coppola’s film archivist for over a decade. She studied directing at American Conservatory Theater and photography, art, and design at the Kodak-influenced Rochester Institute of Technology. Catherine holds a BFA in film from California College of Art.

She is currently assembling a terrific team to move OddFX forward and into production.
